That's why Cloud 9 Services, LLC offers a wide variety of pipe repair services, utilizing trenchless techniques, so we can recommend and perform the best repair service depending on your unique pipe repair situation.
The pipe repair services we offer are:
CIPP lining
This method is used to repair existing sewer lines that have started to deteriorate and crack. CIPP involves inserting an epoxy coated flexible liner inside the existing pipe, inflating the liner, and exposing it to heat to dry and harden the liner inside the pipe. The liner covers up any pipe damage that was there originally and the size of the pipe will only have minimal loss of width as the liner is very thin and conforms to the shape of the pipe. CIPP can last up to 50 years with the same amount of usage. The repair time is usually 8-12 hours.
CIPP Point Repair
The CIPP point repair method utilizes the same requirements as with CIPP Lining just on a smaller scale. This method is utilized for pipeline structures where the damage is only in small sections of the pipe. The repairs will take place in these certain sections and will be repaired using the same techniques as discussed with CIPP lining. The liner lasts up to 50 years. Repair time is usually 2-4 hours.
QuickLock Repair Sleeves
The Quicklock repair sleeves method involves utilizing a stainless steel sleeve structural body, covered by a seamless compression seal. Through the manhole the sleeve in inserted into the pipe and delivered to the damaged section. The sleeve is then mechanically pressed against the inner pipe wall. Using an inflatable packer, the sleeve is then expanded and permanently locked into position. This method boasts no cure time because no resin in involved and can be installed even with water flow present. The liner can last up to 50 years. Repair time is 10 –15 minutes per sleeve.
Internal Joint Seal Repairs
Pipe and manhole joints generally experience higher ground water pressure than grade adjustment manhole. When infiltration occurs due to deflection, offset or corrosion, the Internal Joint Seal is specifically designed to reestablish watertight conditions. Internal Joint Seals stop leaking joints by bridging the joint with a flexible rubber seal and compressing the rubber seal against the inside diameter of the pipe on either side of the joint with expansion bands. The bands can last up to 50 years. Repair time is around 1-2 hours.
Picote Brush Sealing
This method is used to repair an existing sewer pipe that has started to leak into the surrounding soil. The sewer pipe is first completely drained to get rid of any water to prepare the pipe for treatment. Then a thick epoxy coating is brushed on the inside of the pipes to permanently seal the leaks and cracks throughout the pipe. This repair method is great for pipes that have minimal damage but still need to be repaired to prevent further damage or can be used to reinforced a pipe that has already been lined using CIPP. The coating lasts between 30-50 years. Repair time is usually 24 –48 hours.
Injection Grouting
This method is used to fill in cracks, gaps, annular spaces, and joints between old piping and new pipe, or liner, as well as voids in surrounding soil. Once the damaged points have been located utilizing CCTV video inspection, the injection port is drilled into the structure to localize the section to be grouted. Grout is then fed into the ports. As pressure is applied, the grout fills the voids and gaps by forcing out the accumulated groundwater. This method is usually used in tangent with another trenchless repair method, as well as used to stabilize the surrounding soil. The grout will surpass the lifetime of the pipeline system itself. Repair time depends on various factors, but usually takes about 1-8 hours.
